I need my driveway paved. I don't have the money to get it done myself. I am retired and have type-2 diabetes. Every day I take pills and shots.

Currently, I have shale for my driveway. When I get a lot of snow, the shale cames off and I have to pay to get it repaired.

I don't want to borrow the money to get the driveway paved. I got one quote and it was over ten thousand dollars. That is a lot for me to consider borrowing. The payments would be too much.

I don't know where you live but if you are in a very rural area you might be able to get a guaranteed loan or even a grant (up to $7500) for your repair from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. They provide loans and grants to very low-income homeowners who need to make repairs for health or safety reasons. Sounds like your driveway could qualify so it's worth checking out.
