I have been out of work since 2008 due to health reasons. In 2009 my health became worse. I have 3 herniated discs, fibromyalgia plus other ailments that are still preventing me from working. I have been denied Disability 2 times and I am working on my 3rd appeal. My utilities are in jeopardy because I have no income what-so-ever. I am in desperate need of help. Is there any relief for me out here?
Wow, Briteeyes, that certainly sounds like a tough situation. Sorry you are going through all that. Have you tried contacting the utilities that are in jeopardy? They typically have programs to support folks having financial difficulties and you could possibly benefit from one of them. In addition, I would definitely urge you to check out the government site about help for those with disabilities. You can find a good review and guide for the site here. It has a ton of information that is updated daily, all about different kinds of help for the disabiled, and it sounds like you could qualify.
