I am a 41 year old disabled woman who needs help getting my electric on and a little help with my rent. There are no agencies here in Marion, Ohio that will help. I'm on a fixed income of $680 and I have COPD. But evidently that isn't important? Who should I contact?
There are many special programs for those with disabilities. If you haven't checked the government's site for the disabled that would be an important place to start. If you're not familiar with it you can find a good review and how to use it here.
